A Nice Sweet Wedding at Painswick Rococo Garden
When I received the email with the query to shoot the wedding I didn’t know what to expect. I’d never been to the Rococo Garden before and since I was asked to do just a few hours I didn’t expect anything extraordinary. To my delight, it turned out to be a great wedding. The Rococo Garden was so beautiful. The couple and the guests were so lively and smiley. The weather was next to perfect. So I could ask for more. Although I did shoot for a couple of hours only, I was very pleased with the result, as you can see below.
And some words about the Painswick Rococo Garden. It was designed back in the 1740s by Benjamin Hyett to entertain his guests. It’s was created in a hidden valley at a theatrical place – a perfect location for intimate parties. The Garden was designed to intrigue, impress and entertain, all within a comparatively small area. Garden features catch the eye. There are views through and out of the Garden and buildings in which to relax and while away the hours. Today Painswick Rococo Garden Trust is a registered charity and exists to restore the Garden and to educate the public about it.
So, as I mentioned, it was a quick wedding with a tight timetable. On my arrival, I found that most of the guest were already there waiting for the moment to come.
After the groom arrival, I had the opportunity to do some photos with his best men and close friends.
With the bridesmaids’ arrival, the things become even prettier.
And finally, the beautiful bride!
All of the guests were hidden in the garden, waiting for the bride, so we were off without loosing much time.
After the ceremony, everyone followed the bride and the group to a nice interesting maze where we had a quick group shot.
What more I could add – a beautiful Rococo Garden Wedding. And I left the smiling and enjoying the rest of the day!
